By accessing or using Linkbase ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Linkbase is an encrypted content management platform that allows users to create, organize, and share libraries of links and content. All user data is encrypted client-side before being stored on our servers.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service. By using Linkbase, you grant us a limited license to store and transmit your encrypted content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

You agree not to upload content that:

  • Violates any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Contains malware or malicious code
  • Is harmful, threatening, or harassing

5. Encryption & Data Security

Your content is encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption before leaving your device. We do not have access to your encryption keys or decrypted content. This means:

  • If you lose your password, we cannot recover your data
  • We cannot read or access your encrypted content
  • You are solely responsible for backing up your encryption keys

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

9. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL LINKBASE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
